About Gizmo

Gizmo is a 10-year-old handsome Shih Tzu weighing 15 pounds who acts like he is 4 years old. This guy has a big personality. Gizmo was the leftover piece of a divorce that nobody wanted when they were contacted by information on the microchip. He was found running frantically door to door looking for something familiar. Gizmo was dirty, matted, very lost, and scared. After a few days rest and a spa treatment he was prancing around like the dandy that he is, while checking out visitors and his squeaky toys. He can jump on and off the couch to play fetch. He had done well with other small dogs in the group. He eats and sleeps in his kennel and often goes in voluntarily to rest. He is housebroken and walks on a leash with a halter. This boy who is a senior but doesn't act like one would love to share his golden years with a fun family. Like so many ShihTzus he does have dry eye which has improved dramatically on eye drops but he may always need a drop in each eye 1-2 x day the rest of his life.
