Please help Brooklyn and share. This is a courtesy post. Please see below for contact information. This is Brooklyn. Brooklyn is a pit mix who is about 7 years old. Her rescuer found her running through a junkyard when she was an older puppy and couldn't leave her there to fend for herself. Tragically her rescuer passed away this week and she left alone with him until the next morning when help came. She is currently with a family member who cannot keep her, so we are trying to find her a loving home. Unfortunately, Brooklyn is only up to date on her rabies. She is not spayed so she will need to be, and will need her vaccines. She has skin allergies that are being treated, but that's will have to be kept up with. Brooklyn is a very sweet dog, walks well on leash and takes treats so gently. She has shown no signs of aggression or guarding. She is house trained and non destructive. Brooklyn knows sit and down. She is very treat motivated, which will help with any training you may want to do. She just loves attention from everyone and at times will bark just to get some loving. She allows full body contact, is non destructive and shows no signs of separation anxiety. Right now, Brooklyn appears to be non reactive towards dogs, but should probably be an only dog'| at least until she adjusts to losing the only person she ever knew. She would do well with older children probably around 13 and up, as her human sister is around that age. Brooklyn just wants a place to call home, be loved, and give love in return.
