Hays was rescued from a Kill shelter in California right as he was about to be euthanized the same day. He was skin and bones but has now filled out in the past 3-4 months since we have had him. He is fully trained to walking on leash or off leash as he has good recall. Hays is roughly 10-11 months. He adores other dogs and children. He would be an AMAZING family dog. His coloring is super stunning in person. He has a gorgeous shiny coat. He is a german shepherd/akita mix. He is a very sweet boy that has average energy. He loves playing ball and will bring it back to you. When you approach him he loves right into your leg before he lays down and gets in his 'i want belly rub' position. The thought that this amazing boy was going to be euthanized is beyond my comprehension. He has been a lovebug that has been a complete joy training and help make him the great dog he is. He is crate trained to a schedule for working adults and/or families with children in school. Any furever home he goes to will be lucky to have him!!
