About Georgie

Georgie is super loving and super energetic. He loves to chase sticks, balls, and frisbees. He loves to hike and be around people. But we live in a very close neighborhood and he barks aggressively at the fence at passersby. He's nipped a young boy who tried to run past him while we were in a crowd. He lunges against his leash at other dogs. 'Reactive' to his triggers (running children, cats, other dogs), seems to be the best way to describe him. But when he's off leash and the other dogs are off leash he's fine. He weighs 60 pounds and a bundle of enthusiasm. The local shelter suggested euthanasia but I know he can be adopted by the right person with room for his energy (and not in a close neighborhood or city).
