About Survi

Hi my name is Survi short for survivor and that is just what I am! I wasn't dealt a fair deck of cards in my life and I have gone through a great deal of suffering which is evident by the scars that now hide under my beautiful coat that has grown back in. The rescue is fairly certain I was used for dog fighting prior to being picked up as a stray and entering a high kill shelter. Despite my scars and scabs, and untrusting nature, the rescue knew deep down, I was a kind soul waiting for my chance to shine. I am the most loyal dog you will ever meet and I will do anything to please my human. I struggled upon coming to the rescue with trust issues with people and being around other dogs, however I have completed professional training and I am doing great now! I do need an experienced owner and somebody who will be dedicated to my continued training. I can't live with other dogs, but have learned not to react when I see them. My rescue mom adores me and knows that the right human is out there for me. However, let me be clear about what I need: I need you to be dedicated to me. I am super smart and need somebody who will continue my training, I need you to commit to no other animals in the home, I need you to respect the fact that I can be untrusting of new people and introduce me to them before just letting them get up in my space and environment.
