URGENT: Foster or Adopter Needed for Duke & Lucy, Two German Shepherds Found Abandoned on Dufferin Ave. Jennifer from Pumpkin Pawz Rescue recently found Duke and Lucy, two beautiful German Shepherds (approx. 3-5 years old), wandering alone on Dufferin Ave. in Riverside. Tragically, their owner never came forward, and it appears they were likely abandoned (no chip). Lucy was dragging a rope attached to her collar. Duke and Lucy are currently in a very temporary foster, kept in separate outdoor kennels. They're officially up for foster, foster-to-adopt, or adoption, and can go to homes separately. About Duke & Lucy: Dog-friendly and non-reactive: Both are calm around other dogs and wouldn't hurt a fly. Affectionate and grateful: They showed Jennifer love and gratitude when she found them, even offering kisses. Medical needs: Duke, the male, had deep lacerations on his legs and required staples. Both have fly strikes on their ears, indicating they've been through a lot. How You Can Help: Duke and Lucy need a committed foster or forever family where they can heal and find love. If you can help by fostering or adopting, please contact Jennifer at +1 (714) 366-8170 with Pumpkin Pawz Rescue. They will be fixed prior to adoption. Please share widely to help us find Duke and Lucy a safe and loving home! Thank you!
