About Leila

Leila is a one year old female Belgian Malinois Dr. She is very sweet and friendly but has extremely drive and energy that is typical of a Belgian malinois. She was born to malinois parents but is solid black in coloring. Her brother Kodiak is typical dark sable malinois coloring. She is crate trained and potties outside - never in her crate. She does well in leash and knows sit and is learning wait and other commands. She loves loves loves to play ball. She has met the Foster's own dogs and does well with them but wants to play and they are older. She will need to be adopted by an experienced handler and someone with training experience or who has a trainer on standby to work with Leila. She is very active and playful - we do not know how she would be with cats or small dogs. Also she is friendly with humans but due to her high energy and play drive would not be good around children as she could knock them down.
