Kasha is a super sweet Staffy, who just wants to be your one and only! I am helping a friend rehome her, as my friend was deployed last minute for two years or more and did not have time to find a new home. While I am happy to keep her so that she doesn't end up in a shelter, I foster dogs and puppies, primarily Pyrs, and the two breeds don't mix super well. Kasha will get really rough with the puppies while playing and the big dogs go into guardian mode as we have had a couple of close calls with potential fights. I do think she would prefer to be a solo dog, but she does do ok with my two dogs. I think it will just depend on the dog and on the owner. She has made a lot of progress with the puppies, as long as I am nearby, will come to me if she needs help managing the situation. She did do a home trial however, and did not tolerate that potential adopter's puppy very well in the week she was there. She is respectful of the adult cats, but does tend to really go after the foster kittens and I don't personally feel comfortable leaving them unsupervised. Kasha has never shown any aggression toward me or any other person, even when I have been correcting her play or separating her from my dogs. She is a great dog, but I think my house is stressing her out and I can't give her everything she wants and needs. I would love for someone who loves and understands her to give her a home where she can thrive!
