About Spanky in Salem

**Courtesy Post** Spanky is a neutered 5 year old male. He has many fine attributes: Very good in the house. Walks like an obedience champ on a leash! Great around indoor and outdoor cats - shows no interest in them, will let them come up to him. LOVES TO PLAY ANYTHING!! Still figuring out the intricacies of playing with other dogs, but nothing bad. I can feed all the dogs together in a row with no problems. Rides in the truck and side by side like a gentleman. Has had a couple baths and did well. Nail trim was so so, but he really listens to a no from us. He goes out on a long leash to chores, goats, cows, cats, chickens. Rather happy just to be with a person. Sleeps in a bed with another smaller type dog. Doesn't he sound perfect!!!!! Spanky will be a wonderful companion for an active family. He has to have a good fence and his adopter must have a good vet reference. Spanky requires a home with no kids under age 12.
