About Abby

Howdy folks...my name is Abby and I am a 13 year old 11 lb shih tzu girl looking for a quiet place to spend my golden years. Sadly my human passed away and her kids had no interest in opening their home to me. Instead they took me to the local animal shelter and requested me to be euthanized. The vets at the facility refused to do so since my only issue is that I am a SENIOR---and SENIORS NEED LOVE TOO...and a second chance at life...and that's what the girls at FCCR have promised me! Once Karena got me on the grooming table and cleaned me all up I was all smiles and happy tails again. I actually love to be around people and other pups...I won't be joining in the lizard chase running around the backyard but you can be sure I will be walking around to make sure my pals don't cause too much ruckus.
