About Haku

Haku is my 7 year old indoor only Devon Rex. I have had him since kittenhood and he is a delightful and quirky cat as most Devons are. He loves food and is quite vocal. He loves to snuggle every night up close to my face. As time has passed, we have added two dogs and two young children to the family and Haku is more stressed. He has taken to urinating and defecating outside the litterbox sometimes. It seems evident to me that he requires more one on one attention and a calm atmosphere where he can rule the house. He has been evaluated thoroughly for health issues and the most that can be diagnosed is idiopathic cystitis brought on by stress. We have altered his litterbox situation in every way possible and are at our wits' end. He has been trained to use potty pads as well as the litterbox. I am saddened to rehome him but I also think there could be a very wonderful home out there where he does not have to compete with babies and he will be happier and these issues could resolve. He is truly an adorable cat and with the right mom or dad could really thrive. Please contact me to discuss him further if interested.
