About Buckey

Buckey is 14 months old, stands 25-26inchs in hight and currently weighs 76lbs. Buckey is a very sweet boy but needs his exercise like most Malinois. My husband and I fostered Buckey for 2 weeks and then adopted him. Buckey was picked up running the streets by a rescue named Wags. Wags had Buckey for 3 months before we began our foster. Buckey was sick and having a very hard time being kenneled at their foundation and recovering from his neglect. We decided to adopt Bucky to help him recover in hopes we would be his forever Home. Since Buckey has been with us he has completely recovered and is Very healthy and happy. Buckey loves his food and most of all his treats. He is a very fast learner and wants to please. We have a 10yr old granddaughter that he loves and a much smaller 8yr old female dog he loves and gets along with wonderfully. It truly saddens us to make this decision, but we just want what's best for Buckey. We have realized that we are older and can not provide the amount of time and exercise Buckey needs. Please reach out if you are looking for a dog like Buckey. But please know the breed before you commit. They are a absolutely beautiful, wonderful, smart breed but definitely needs someone that can handle the commitment. Hope to hear from a forever Home soon. God Bless
