Nakita is a petite 1 y/o, apx 40 lb. Husky saved from death row in the nick of time and sent to a foster home in WV. Her foster dad is diabetic and recently injured so having a third dog in the home is putting an additional strain on his health, which is why this is urgent. Nakita (now being called Kyra by foster dad) will do best in a home with folks who have experience with Huskies and understand their needs and quirks. She took a little bit of time to warm up to the two dogs in the home, but is now getting along with them and even getting along with the cat. (If you have other dogs in the home, her foster dad can tell you whether he thinks it will work or not based on their temperament/personalities). She does her business quickly when on walks and is housebroken. Overall, she is very chill, and will sleep most of the day. She does take a minute to warm up to new people but she's very lovable and will follow you everywhere once she does. She loves her tennis balls and will entertain herself with one, but loves for you to throw it for her. Nakita is currently in temporary foster care in WV, but transportation is available to the northeast. If you are interested in learning more about this very sweet girl, please text/call Aly at 732-604-0625 or submit an inquiry ASAP! Thank you for caring about a pet in urgent need. (3
