About Calypso

Meet Calypso, a young, sweet, and friendly soul. Her spirit is as enchanting as her name, radiating warmth and joy to those around her. Calypso's energy is infectious, making every day a new adventure. She's a giant puppy at heart, with an insatiable curiosity and a zest for life that's hard to match. Calypso loves the water, splashing around brings her unparalleled joy. However, her enthusiasm also means she needs a lot of training. She's eager to learn, though, and with the right guidance, she'll quickly become a well-behaved companion. Calypso is a little over a year old. She weighs 52# and is good with other dogs. If requested she can be cat tested. Due to her size and puppy exuberance, we recommend a home with kids 10 and over. She is very active and would do best with a family that would be willing to play with her in the backyard and/or take her out on excursions such as hikes, trips to parks. She seems to be very trainable and is looking to please humans. So anyone that is willing to work to get her on a good schedule and provide some basic training would be ideal. She is also a big cuddle bug once she's burned off her energy. Calypso is waiting for a home where her vivacious personality can truly shine.
