Introducing Dahlia. Her mom was a stray cat that had taken up residence in a feral colony in an effort to find food. She was heavily pregnant when she was rescued and gave birth the following morning. We are very thankful that Rosie's babies were born safe and sound inside so they have been healthy and well-socialized since they were born. Dahlia has a calm, confident energy. She enjoys investigating new spaces or boxes to climb in. She is an impressive jumper, leaping onto her cat tower while exploring new heights. When playtime ends, she finds a cozy blanket or bed close to her people. She is happiest when she can be nearby while her foster mom works on the computer or watches TV. Dahlia sits quietly when she gets her regular nail trims, knowing that churro treats are to follow. Dahlia is a little uncertain of young children but would do well with older children or teenagers. She has been exposed to other cats in her foster home and has grown up playing with her three siblings. She could do well in a house with a playful, welcoming cat or a respectful dog if appropriately introduced.
