We love Kiko! She will be 5 on Nov 1st, we call it Dia de los Kiko. She is the most loving, loyal dog. She's great with kids. We rescued her in 2020. She had just had a litter of puppies and was very timid. We were isolated due to covid, she and our other dog didn't see other dogs or people for a long time. They have had dog friends after warming up to them but they need to be introduced carefully. They are dependent on each other and protective of us. They're trained and but still have anxiety on walks and when meeting new people and animals. Over the past few years they have gotten off leash and been aggressive towards other dogs a few times. Most recently they got off leash on a walk and ganged up on a dog in the neighborhood. The dog did not have any injuries but the owners called animal services. She's never hurt a person. We live near a park with a lot of dogs and small children just outside of Los Angeles. The people in our neighborhood do not want our dogs in the community anymore. We can't take them on walks or out in the area. We are heartbroken, our kids are devastated. We want to find them a home where they can be happy and don't want to send them to a shelter. We would love for them to stay together if possible. She is the black and white one in the photo.
