The time has come for Minnie Mouse to find her forever home! She has overcome death, and made a miraculous recovery here in in rescue. She does have some lifelong medical conditions that will require ongoing medical care, a strict prescription food diet, medication, and may have some costly vet care in her lifetime. Any adopter should be sure they can financially take her on before applying! Minnie Mouse came to us lifeless, with no body fat, no fur, and little hope of survival, but this girl is a fighter and just celebrated her second birthday! She weighs 10 pounds and is the sweetest, happiest little Shorkie you will ever meet. Minnie Mouse is crate trained, leash trained, and loves car rides. She does use peepads and potties outside, but her EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency) does cause some extra pee to occur and she may have accidents if not on a consistent bathroom schedule. Minnie Mouse does take daily medication and eats prescription food that must be continued as her condition can become deadly if treatment isn't followed. She is super easy to care for, a great eater, and cooperates for her weekly baths too! We are open to a local to Lebanon PA foster to adopt home or a straight adoptive home for this little girl. We are always a support system for our adopters and can be available to assist with any questions or concerns throughout Minnie Mouse's life in a new home. She has come so far since March, and now it's time she finds a loving home to call her own..... To adopt Minnie Mouse, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, spay, biopsies, specialist visits with additional diagnostics, dental, and all the love you can handle!
