About Oakland

Oakland's the name and stealing hearts (and probably your snacks) is my game! I'm a beautiful, 8-month-old, outgoing Merle Great Dane. So if you're looking for a big, goofy ball of energy to love and keep you on your toes, then I'm your gal! Although I'm still a puppy, I'm growing up to be a big girl. But I'm a typical, clumsy Dane pup with the coordination of a baby giraffe. My social game is strong, and I love playing with other dogs and can't wait to make new friends but be warned - I'm not a dainty female and my version of 'playtime' can sometimes be a full-contact sport. I do play rough, but it's all in good fun! And when I'm not roughhousing, I'm very focused on getting my people's attention. Just expect to have me leaning on you like a big, lovable shadow. But there's one thing you'll need to watch out for�'�| food. My motto is what's mine is mine, and I'm not thrilled when other dogs get near my food, so be ready for some enthusiastic food debates.
