Moose is generally quiet and low maintenance. He loves people and is happy to hangout by your side with a chew toy. He willingly sleeps in his crate at night. He'll sit, lay down and shake both paws in trade for a few treats. Moose is highly trainable and food motivated. I believe additional obedience, trick and task training would be a great way to keep him active and entertained. He needs a job! He does have some separation anxiety and will chew furniture if left home alone, but is otherwise not destructive. He has had limited exposure to other dogs. He would likely do well with other large dogs that will help teach him manners and enjoy his rough play style. Slow introductions would be very beneficial. He currently lives with 2 household cats but does chase them sometimes. Moose would be a great fit for a home with a large yard where he has room to roam. He would do best with a family who has time to dedicate to keeping him active and continuing training. Due to a previous bite history (resource guarding), Moose must go to a home with no children. He may do well with older, dog savvy teenagers.
