About Cricket

Beautiful Cricket, about two years old, was pulled from a shelter in Texas. Cricket is a sweet girl who had an owner but was kept outside in the Texas heat without any vet care. She got pregnant and was dumped at the shelter after giving birth to nine puppies. Unfortunately, we have no idea what happened to the puppies as they were nowhere to be found!! Poor Cricket deserves so much more. She's about 40 pounds and is estimated to be a two-year-old heeler. She is now fully vetted and vaccinated. She doesn't care about cats. When she first arrived, she growled at the dogs in the foster house, but after a few days of decompression, she became their friend. She is a quiet girl that doesn't bark much at all. She loves to play. She loves attention. She would do extraordinary at agility training because she loves to run hurdles. She's also good on a leash. She's an energetic but good girl. If adopted, Cricket can come to the NJ area on our next transport and will go to her new home upon arrival.
