This adorable boy, Flynn, has spent the last 2 months in the shelter - he is a puppy (1 yr, 40 lbs) and has spent a large part of his short life in an over crowded and very loud kennel. It is heart breaking watching him grow up without the love and socialization of a family. I spent the day with Flynn and got to know him even better. He is a fun and active lab mix (possibly whippet based on his skinny, lanky body) and had a ball zooming around our back yard! He met a neighbor's playful dog and loved having a quick play session. He met my small dogs and was interested but realized quickly that they were not interested in playing and respected their feedback. Flynn would love a back yard or a family would that would be active with him. He would probably do great with a playful fur sibling! He has puppy mannerisms and will need his family to teach him how to be his best self!! - Super fun, energetic & playful puppy!! - Loves balls, toys or anything that he can run after - Would love a back yard or active family - Cutest 'dobby the elf' ears & incredibly soft black fur - Most adorable long, lanky puppy dog body - Loves sniffing on the trails - Very treat motivated so likely easier to train - Will 'sit' for treats - Loves belly rubs & will lean into you for affection - Excited to see other dogs & met multiple dogs of all sizes on his daycation (playful with a dog his size & respected a grumpy small dog) - Has some puppy behavior & is looking for a furever family who will help him become his best puppy self He is looking for an adopter or foster to help get him out of the shelter ASAP!
