About Daisy

This is Daisy, a beautiful 7-month-old, 30-lb catahoula mix. We took in her and her brother after finding them under a car at 8 weeks old. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and leash and fully crate trained. Rehoming fee is $100 and we want to do a meet and greet and home visit for anyone interested. Despite being avid animal lovers and owners our whole lives, my husband and I have realized two large puppies was too much and Daisy needs something different. She is incredibly intelligent and high energy, which has led her and her brother to develop a sibling rivalry despite our diligence with keeping toys and bowls off the ground. She is very sweet and extremely trainable, but we believe the set up of our house and our small yard really prevent her from being herself and have led her to begin showing aggression towards our other dogs and especially towards her brother. We have never rehomed an animal before, but our house just does not allow us to keep four dogs separated 24/7 and restricting her this much feels wrong. Daisy needs to be in an only-dog household (or maybe with one other medium-to-large non-reactive dog) with an experienced owner, a large space to run, and structure. She is having trouble socializing with other animals and people but we believe she is trainable with time. She LOOOOOVES her laser and lunge whip toys (she would come with those and her crate), as well as some of her treat puzzles. Her favorite thing in the whole world is sprinting as fast as she can, lol. We even have an agility set we are happy to give. She also loves water and water hoses. She would do incredible on a farm or other place where she could have a job or role and spend a lot of time outdoors - she is VERY loyal and focused. She is not a chewer but prefers puzzles, kongs, or squeaky things. We love her and have cried over the thought of giving her up or of her ending up in the wrong home or a shelter - we are willing to take her back if she isn't a good fit for the next home she is in.
