About Raya

Raya is a beautiful 1 yr old German Shepherd/Aussie cross girl with 1 blue eye. She is the most loving and playful 60+ lbs puppy. She is so smart, and picks things up very quickly. She knows sit, down, off, shake, touch, and kennel/bedtime. She takes treats from you very gently, and seems to love children, but is big and still a bit clumsy for the smaller ones. She plays well with toys by herself, and loves to play bitey face, and chase, and, rough house with her foster siblings. She is still puppyish with a lot of energy, but she also has an off switch. Raya needs a home with people willing to give her time to get to know them as she has some stranger danger. Once she knows and trusts you, she is all in. A few extra visits may be necessary to win her over. A fenced yard is a good idea as she is very curious and may dart after something interesting. She would benefit from a patient playful fur sibling to help her release that extra energy on a daily basis. She has already been spayed and is utd on vaccines and takes monthly heart worm and flea medications. Raya is waiting for that person or family to come and be her furever!
