About Jax

I found Jax in Jacksonville, FL a little over 2 years ago. He has always been aggressive towards other dogs when on a leash. I'm currently in Englewood, FL, but I would be willing to travel to get the care I need for Jax. Jax has improved a lot over the 2 years that I've had him as we go on a daily walk and sometimes encounter other dogs. However, I've never been comfortable socializing him with other dogs as I don't want him to hurt another dog and I don't know how he will react. He does seem to be ok with smaller dogs. I recently went through a break up and I moved in with my sister and her husband. Their house has a 3/4 complete fence. The issue is the neighbor. Her dog gets out of her house frequently and he runs around the neighborhood. I can't guarantee the safety of Jax and I can't afford to install a fence. My sister also doesn't want to be liable for anything, so I can't stay in this living situation. Do you know of any fosters or rescues that would TEMPORARILY take Jax? I just need to get back on my feet and find my own place that can properly accommodate Jax. I also want him to go through proper behavioral training. Having him with a foster would afford me time to pick up another job in order to prepare financially for his return. Please advise if you know of any fosters or rescues that I could reach out to. I would also be willing to take him as far to Texas or Minnesota.
