About CHARLES XAVIER

Charles Xavier came to us from Yuma when he was at risk due to an unusual medical condition. He had some hair follicle cysts (on the top of his head) that needed to be removed and he has healed well, however they may come back at some point in the future. The good news is that they are mainly cosmetic vs. an ongoing health concern. Charles Xavier can be protective of his home and humans so will need someone willing to manage this behavior (and he is a great watch dog). He is a young guy (only 18-20 mo) so is very trainable and has a strong desire to please. He is mostly housetrained (with a dog door) but will need to adjust to a new routine in his forever home. He is very playful and loves running and zooming in the yard. He is very loving to foster mom and has warmed up to her son and the grandkids (but that took a bit of time).
