About canary

This little bird has been with me.For over 6 years .He is well loved . His best friend had passed . They did not live together. But would come out to play. I had to keep a eye on them. Since then he is not so playful. When his friend passed .I was going to buy another canary. But have decided not to. But i want him to be happy. I do not know his age.I did not use him for breeding. He is a pet to me .He eats seed /pellet/ bird greens/ canary song food/millet spring water . You will need to pervide a gd home for him. Plus a cage .He likes to move around. Years a go he had a split flight cage . So he could see his friend. I have changed cage now . This bird is quiet unless he sings. Which is beautiful when he does.
