While he tolerates kids, we recommend a home with older children who can respect his space. This lovable pup has a special fondness for stuffed animals, which help calm him during stressful times like bath time or when getting his harness and leash on. Fred may express his fears with little snips, but rest assured, he's not aggressive-just scared. He's currently learning basic commands like 'sit' and 'stay,' but prefers gentle voices. If he feels overwhelmed, he may retreat to his safe space, whether it's his crate or his comfy bed. Although he's a bit apprehensive about the leash, once it's on, he becomes a wonderful walking companion. Fred is house and crate trained, and he's motivated by treats, making training a fun experience! He enjoys being snuggled and loved, but he also cherishes his personal space as long as he can still see you.
