Why 'Poor Sweet Addie'? Because this sweet 4 y/o, medium sized (38 lbs) Beagle mix found herself in an over-crowded shelter on the euthanasia list. A rescue was able to whisk her out in the nick of time, get her spayed and have a hernia repaired, and then she went to a foster home. But, she was returned after just a few weeks. Apparently, even though she is appropriately social when greeting other dogs out and about, she definitely needs to be the only pet *inside* the home as she exhibits jealousy towards other pets when it comes to her things or her people. Of course it's not easy to find homes for dogs that need to be solo pet so she has been sitting stuck in boarding ever since. Not only is that just like being back at the shelter as far as Addie can tell, but the small rescue that saved her cannot afford to continue paying her boarding bill, so now she is at risk of ending up back at a shelter!! She is extremely sweet, affectionate, and cuddly, with all people and kids, too. She is crate-trained and loves to play with her toys. We have add'l photos and videos to share also. ***** PLEASE, if you can FOSTER or adopt this sweet girl, please call/text Aly at 732-604-0625 asap! ***** Thank you for caring about a pet in urgent need!
