About Jaxon

Jaxon (Jax for short) 2.5 year old German shepherd mix, 35 lbs. He is playful and energetic, truly a dog's dog in that he loves sticks and balls and will run around the yard all day playing catch with himself or bring you his ball to play fetch. He does love to chase after squirrels, rabbits or birds in the yard (highly recommend a home with a fence) He is very treat motivated and quick to learning commands. Things to note: Jax can have anxiety and has food resource guarding. Best in a home with no cats or children, larger dogs are fine. If you adopt Jax and find that he is not a good fit, please do not surrender him to a shelter. We will take him back, no questions asked. We want the best home for him and understand it may take time but willing to wait for the right family. The reason we are rehoming is because the arrival of our baby has given him increased anxiety and he has snapped and growled, no bite history but we don't want to risk it.
