About Manuka

Manuka is a very sweet dog. He loves to run and play and is an amazing athlete. He loves frisbees and balls and catches them with ease. He is not a barker unless someone comes to the door. He loves when other dogs chase him and has been to the dog park many times. He could use some leash training as he likes to pull. We are searching for a new home because he has been agressive with our daughter's friends (around 10 year old kids). He has lunged and tried to bite but hasn't actually bit anyone. Seems to be territorial, but not safe for us to keep him. We are heartbroken because he has been a dream of a dog and we love him so much. He just needs a kid free home and the shelter said they would probably have to put him down if we brought him back. He's only 2.5 years old and it would be awful for him to die so young.
