About Marco

Marco is an absolute doll! We pulled him off the euthanasia from a kill shelter in Dallas, list the same day he was supposed to go! I can't imagine why anyone would want to give him up! I have been fostering him at my house with the other dogs we also brought to the Catskills for two months now. He just wants love and cuddles. He is starved for love and is a very loving sweet boy. He is very happy. He has amazing recall and never leaves me when we are on my property or walking down my dead end dirt road to let him run around in the fields. He does not chase after squirrels or chipmunks or the deer when he sees them. Marco loves to bring back his little stuffed lovie I gave him when he arrived here. He was very skinny when he arrived two montsh ago but is really almost filled in to his body now and looks beautiful! He would do great in any sort of home setting. He would love a single owner, a couple, and probably most of all a family with children. Marco loves to push his face into you as if he is wrapping his neck around and into you to give you a hug. He is always happy to see me. He is crate trained and has zero accidents in the home or his crate. I have gotten him on a working person or family's school schedule to make a transition easier for him and his furever home. He does very well with training as he is food motivated. He knows sit, paw, and down. He loves to hang out in the kitchen with me while I cook. He walks very well on leash and always sticks to my right side and does not pull. He also LOVES car rides! He is very excited when its time to eat but is not rude about it. He waits for his food to be put down before he goes to start eating. He is also very good about letting me know when he needs to go outside to go to the bathroom as needed if i haven't recently taken him out. Marco is an amazing dog and I am so happy we were able to give him a second chance. His instant charm and love is going to make everyone in his furever home feel very special. I look forward and I am honored to help him find his furever home because he sure does deserve one!
