Olive Jezzy was found by a dumpster with a group of dogs where animals roam free on the city streets and tragically are mistreated and abused. She was malnourished, anemic, and had an eye infection. Once she received all the vetting and TLC she needed, she was able to travel and is now in temp foster. ------ Here's what her foster mom has to say: 'Olive is a stunning Dutch Shepherd / Mountain Cur mix about 1.5-2 years old and apx 40 lbs. She is potty trained, sleeps perfectly through the night in her crate, and knows basic commands (sit, come, leave it, etc.). Olive is a spunky girl who loves to run and play before taking a nap with her people on the couch. She is non-destructive and occupies herself with her toys and bones. She has done well with dogs, cats, and kids, but has shown some jealousy towards her current foster fur-siblings so if she goes to a home with another dog, they should be an easy-going, low key, and tolerant pup who won't mind letting her be the boss. Understandably, she does take a minute to warm up and trust people but once she does, she's sweet as can be! She is fiercely loyal and just wants to please her humans!' --------- This stunning girl who was smart enough to take help when it was offered to her will make a wonderful addition to any family!
