About Spade

Spade is a loving, loyal companion and such a sweet 1 year old female border collie mix girl in a petite package. With her medium energy level, she's perfect for someone who wants an active pup without the chaos. She's an absolute sweetheart, especially around kids. Our 3- and 6-year-olds adore her, and she's always gentle and patient. She is also good with cats, horses, and cows. Spade's foster mom is in the process of exposing Spade to more dogs to have a clear picture of how she is with them. Spade is very trainable, well-behaved, and had a nice temperament. When it's time to relax, Spade is content to lounge in the sun or explore the yard on her own. House training is a work in progress, but she's making huge strides. Her leash manners are amazing for her age - she hardly pulls at all. Spade is a quick learner, too. She picked up the 'sit' command in just one day. She will be a great fit for anyone looking for a loving, loyal companion and a great family dog. Spade is spayed and microchipped. She is currently being fostered in Southeastern Oregon.
