About Jovie

Meet Jovie! This beautiful two-year old girl is safe with our friends at Crops and Flops Rescue after being found as a stray. Named for an 'Elf' character, she would love being the best part of your next Christmas! Jovie is one lucky dog who recently landed one of the best foster homes in the state! With a tail seriously damaged from an injury, she was guarded and detached at first. As she healed physically, her emotional health also improved! Jovie is happy, playful, and affectionate. Love and patience has prepared her for a forever home where she'll continue to thrive. Jovie is an easy-to-please goofy dog who will make you laugh from her silly antics. Part of her moderate activity level involves bursts of energy, hopping like a bunny, and awkward zoomies. She also enjoys mini training sessions with treats, fetching, and leisure walks to sniff out who's been where and done what. She's also good on the move and loves car rides. Yet, you'll love how she settles nicely. She entertains herself with toys and bones or finds a cozy spot to rest. Snuggling is a top priority for her so be prepared! Jovie is dog friendly, but much too excited around cats and small pups. Since she has an energetic playstyle, she can be a little annoying (don't tell her!) For that reason, she may do best as your only pet, but she'd love regular doggie playdates. Pint-sized humans make her nervous, so a home without little ones is a must. A fenced-in yard is preferred.
