About Rufus

Rufus is looking for his forever family!! Meet Rufus, a stunning 3-year-old Dogue de Bordeaux (DDB) who is ready to find his forever family! Rufus is an energetic, loving boy who was sadly surrendered when his owner moved to a smaller apartment. At 90 pounds, he is underweight and will gain around 20 pounds with proper care. He's crate and housebroken trained, walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands like 'come,' 'sit,' and 'down.' Rufus grew up in a family with a small child, but because he's spent a lot of his life in a crate, we recommend a home with children over 12 years old who are experienced with large breeds.
