Bandit is an almost 4 year old husky/heeler mix. She is a great dog and very loyal. She does prefer her people and has that stubborn husky and heeler personality. She can be standoffish to people she doesn't know and will bark at stranger. She is kennel and muzzle trained simply for her safety. She has never shown any aggression towards people, just no interest in those she doesn't know (if you're familiar with heelers, you know what I mean). She has a particular quirk that we are sure why, but she does not like going to the bathroom outside of the grass is wet or taller than a couple inches. She does well off-leash on our property outside of the fence as long as we pay attention because if she gets bored she will start to investigate/wander. Very smart and needs to stay active with a job. Gets along with our dog, ignores others while out in public, but if any come onto our property she will immediately be protective. She is a dominant dog with a strong personality. Would love for her to go home with her best friend, Prince, who we are also rehoming. Having to re-home due to the fact we had to move my sick grandmother into our home and she is severely allergic to dogs. We have tried to keep them separated from her to reduce the effect, but it's not worked and doctor says dogs have to go for the sake of her health.
