About Bubba

Meet Bubba - a beautiful brindle mix, approximately 2yrs old, intact male. This baby is truly one of a kind, and he'll bless the hell out of any home he lands in. He's VERY submissive with adults and all dogs, and respectfully playful with kids. Bubba is a simple guy and wakes up every morning with just 2 things on his to-do list: love, be loved. He'd be down for anything and everything, as long as he got to do it with YOU! Cuddling is his favorite, finding the sunniest spots in the house is his superpower, he knows and obeys basic commands, and he could be renamed 'Velcro'. Bubba loves the car, walks great on a leash after 3-5 frustrating minutes, and watching him play with his toys will bring laughter and joy to your hardest days. He loves getting brushed and having his ears cleaned, but he'd prefer to pass on baths and nail clippings if given a choice - still begrudgingly tolerates both. Bubba aims to please, and he needs little motivation to do so. For a 'good boy' and scratch behind the ears, he'd jump off a cliff into a lake of lava. He's house trained, kennel trained, and has never marked indoors. Bubba would ROCK in a home where he's the only pet to love. He's *too submissive* - my 2 large dogs bullied him, and he continued trying to play with them. This gentle giant also has trouble moderating his strength while playing with smaller and senior dogs. For these 2 reasons, living in a home with other dogs will require strict supervision and/or separation to keep everyone safe. Bubba has been in my home for approximately 6 weeks under a temporary foster agreement. Unfortunately his owner's living situation has become more unstable, and Bubba needs a new permanent family. I've run out of options for placement, and our county's shelter will likely euthanize this innocent angel. Please help me give this sweet baby a chance!
