About Seth

Siberian Husky
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Hello, my name is Seth, and I am one handsome guy. The kind volunteers who work with me say that I look like a gangster dog, a tough guy that will steal your heart (and any treats you might have) in the blink of an eye! Hey! '| If you be my Bonnie, I'll be your Clyde! I came to Moonsong from an over-crowded shelter in mid-late 2023. Let's just say that Moonsong is my hero. I've been dreaming of the day when I can have a home of my own, one which has a fenced in yard, includes a lot of playtime and stimulation, and one that has routine and schedule as part of the day. I am CRAZY smart. I absolutely love walking and hiking and am super, duper fast at the beginning of each walk but slow after the first half mile. I ride excellently in cars (though I often fall asleep and snore loudly) and do very well with humans of all shapes and sizes! I have never shown aggression to people even in spite of my gangster image. I really don't like small animals'|they are just too much fun and tempt me too much. I could really benefit from some continued obedience training and absolutely cannot get enough flattery! I ADORE praise. I am not a fence jumper, but I do dig, so if you'd like some help with landscaping projects, I would be more than willing to lend a hand. And, like any tough guy, I may not do well with other dogs who also like to be 'top dog.' Though, I do well with most dogs who don't challenge my rule, and have had several incredibly fun play dates and hikes with other dogs while in Moonsong's care. But, you can only have one king and that's me! Can I be the bad boy in your life? Seth will not be placed in a home with other small animals or livestock due to his prey drive. He does great on leash, but has demonstrated to Moonsong that he cannot be trusted off-leash; he will take himself on an adventure. Once he learns the ropes in a new place, his inclination to shine only increases. Due to resource guarding of his food and treats, he must be fed separately from other pets.
