About George

Please help me find a home for 2 year old George! I'm fostering him through Long Beach animal care services as he was red listed for euthanasia after becoming severely stressed in the shelter environment. Im blown away by how good he is in a home. He's perfectly potty trained and perfectly crate trained, knows basic commands and is quiet in the house-he must have had a previous owner who taught him the basics. He's a mountain cur mix (a rare breed known for loyalty and as hunting dogs). He can be lazy and lounge around, or active along with me (he mostly just wants to be around humans). He's great in the crate when I'm gone and doesn't make much noise (I watch him on a pet camera lol). He can be a little high energy on walks and tends to pull, but is getting used to walking with a slip lead which is improving that greatly. He is: -2 years old -good with other dogs -good with kids -unknown with cats -no resource guarding -food motivated and eager to please, making him super trainable If you have questions or if you'd like to talk to me about adopting him please comment or PM!
