About Bucky

Very smart, learns fast, has only fought with a large male dog I'm fostering that I keep sperate, by my error they came in contact and fought. Bucky lives indoors with 7 other dogs of all ages and sizes with no problem I feel this foster dog is knew and he feels is a threat where other dogs he grew up with. My blind niece was his owner she passed suddenly on 9-20-24 and left me with her 5 dogs. We've had him since he was 8 weeks old born July 8th 2023. He's had all VAX except rabies pending him getting fixed. He loves to chase birds and butterfly's outside I feel it innate in him to be a hunting bird dog maybe. He bucks when excited hint name. He's very loving, loyal and a beautiful dog. He is easy to train, does not dig or chew up things. He's housebroken but will have accidents if not taken out as needed. He eats dry kibble once a day I mix wet dog food with dry k8bnle for dinner or I make chicken with veggies stew and pour over dry kibble so his poop isn't mushy. He loves to play with dogs esp the terrier he grew up with she's same age as him. He has long legs, great wright and smooth soft coat low shedding. Leash trained, does not like being in a crate injured himself trying to get out so I don't put him in one. He does not like confinement and will try to get out..often succeeding. He needs a person to work with him more..he needs space to run and play. He would make a great hunting dog or herding dog if trained. He's at great age to start teach.
