Meet Fluffy, our little orange tabby! She is roughly two years old, and we adopted her from the Orange County Animal shelter in July. She might be the most sociable, curious, and adorable cat I've ever met. She wants to be everywhere my family is! During nap times and quiet times she loves to cuddle close and nap right at my side. She is house trained and does very well with a litter box. She enjoys short expeditions to the backyard, but is overall an indoor gal. She has been patient with my young kiddos and even grew to tolerate our 75 lb. Pit bull/German shepherd dog! Scout loved her at first sight, but it has taken her a good 2-3 months to appreciate the relationship! I'm unsure of how she would do long-term with another cat in the home- she didn't seem to like the company of cats when we adopted her from the shelter, but given how well she has adapted to Scout, I think it would be possible to introduce her to another cat in the home. Expect it to take time and patience. She will sometimes exhibit younger cat behaviors of playful biting and swatting when she is overstimulated from petting- but she is easily redirected. Her play behaviors are very gentle and she does not show aggression at all- she's just still learning how to be a grown-up cat! She's a cutie.
