My name is Atticus, I am 3 years old, and I am a CKC registered pure breed St. Bernard. I cannot stay in my home for two reasons. First of all, my mom has developed some medical issues that make it impossible for her to care for me in the right manner. Secondly, I do not like other dogs at all. My brother (a Great Pyrenees) and I have to be crated and rotated 24/7 and that has been that way for two years and it's just not a great way for me to live. I love humans and kids, and other than my dislike of dogs I am really the best dog ever. I weigh over 200 pounds, so I am a really big lap dog and yes, I like to sit in laps. I do not have toy or food aggression. Never potty in the house, never chew anything but chew toys, and I love my chew toys. I came from a reputable breeder in Alabama, and I am chipped. My happy place would be a family with kids and fenced in yard. I will not go to just any house, it has to be right, and my dad must be comfortable with the situation. Honestly, Atticus is truly a wonderful laid-back dog, his only pitfall is other dogs. Any dog with any level of aggression he will shut it down immediately. We tried to rehome to someone with a female Kangal and it did not work because the Kangal was aggressive. If you have other dogs, please do not even ask.
