About Reba

Hello world! I'm Reba. I'm around one year old, and I am super affectionate and love people of all sizes. The thing I want most in this world is to love on people and be loved on. I am a major snuggle bug. I can be very calm and collected at home but am still anxious and afraid of not being loved. I used to follow my foster around everywhere and not let them out of my sight, but I'm starting to get more comfortable and will wander off. I do know how to entertain myself with toys even if I don't do it that often. I have a stuffed lamb I like to throw around and I like to collect dog toys when I visit other houses. I am house trained and know all of my basic commands. I am very curious and confident and this sometimes gets me into trouble. I'm still learning what I am and am not allowed to do, but with constant reinforcement and clear rules I'll be a pro. I would do great with a family. More people to love! I need a family that understands that I can be hyper and persistent but if they have a focused outlet that's a bonus! Agility? Jumping? Frisbee? Farm life? Any of those sound great! Just make sure I have something to focus my energy and intelligence on. I'd do best with some kind of job as an outlet. I am learning how to socialize with other dogs. I'm still a little shy and unsure. Though I've been hanging out with other adult dogs and even a couple puppies and have been catching on. I haven't quite learned how big my paws are but I do know how to communicate my boundaries without being aggressive. I'm not afraid to tell anyone how I feel though. I'm indifferent to most things I've seen so far, except the wacky waving inflatable arm man. He is my sworn enemy. Cats are interesting to me and I try to talk with them but they don't seem to understand me. I don't want to chase them. I might be able to live with a dog savvy cat. I'm not sure yet. I love going for car rides and do very well. I like to lay on the couch and hang out with my people. Did I mention I'm still learning how to contain my excitement? Sometimes I just get so excited I can't contain myself and need a family that understands how to help me regain my composure and calm down. I'm being fostered in the Eugene area. I'm up to date on my shots. I'd love to find my forever home where I can get and give love with my own family.
