BETHY is a 2-year-old, 11 pound tri-color terrier mix that was surrendered by her family due to a housing situation. She is a beautiful girl with long, slender legs, like a deer. Bethy will be the most loving and loyal companion for a lucky someone. She's a velcro dog, stuck to her foster mom all the time. She is very loving and gives lots of kisses and loves to cuddle. Even though she was in a home with other dogs before she came to us, she is not a huge fan of other dogs and probably would be happiest as an only dog as long as she did not spend long hours alone. She uses a dog door and is mostly housebroken. She does have an occasional accident if she gets busy following her foster mom around and forgets to go outside. Bethy will need a fenced yard and to not be left alone outside when her person is not around. She also needs to be watched around open doors because she likes to try to run out to investigate whatever is on the other side! At night, Bethy sleeps right next to her foster mom under the covers. She can jump up on the bed all by herself so every time you turn around she's up in the bed waiting for you to get in so she can snuggle with you! Bethy has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. MORE about BETHY: She is a jumper and will go right over a baby gate or barrier with no hesitation because she is determined to be wherever her person goes. She is also vocal and likes to talk to her person. She's not a good fit for an apartment.
