About Rum

Don't pass me by!!! I am the perfect pocket-sized companion you can imagine with a personality the size of Texas. I love people - all kinds of people - big or little - outgoing or introverted - grown-up or young - Gemini or Aquarius - literally everyone is my friend. I do beautifully with other dogs and am a great candidate for doggy daycare and other social settings. My firecracker breed has been known for encouraging small dogs to come out of their shell. I am spicy and expressive and have big dreams- thoughts of riding shotgun with my new adopter, walks on the riverwalk to see the Holiday lights, and lapping from my own, personal, latte from the coffee drive-thru. Being a Chihuahua mix, I'm totally transparent. I wear my emotions on my sleeve and you know exactly where I stand. I am a bold communicator, with very few mixed signals and little in the way of muddy language. What you see is what you get. I am a brave defender and also a devoted admirer. I may bark but you also may talk too much:) I love taking long siestas and making myself invisible in your covers. Most Chihuahuas can live well into their teens so you will likely have me for a very long time.
