About Shasta

Shasta is the cutest little border collie (possibly Kelpie mix)! With her 4 white socks, and her tiny compact body, she is the best girl! At 35 pounds and10 months old, she probably won't get much bigger. Shasta is spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on all her shots. Shasta is fully house trained, she will let you know when she needs to go outside. She also learned the dog door quickly. Shasta will walk on a leash, and car rides are OK. We are working with both of those, as this is all new for her. Shasta plays well with other dogs, but can also entertain herself with toys. She loves chewing - make sure she has chew toys - she is still a pup. Shasta was found by a hunter loose in the mountains outside John Day, OR. She was running with 3 other dogs, at an apparent dumping site. That someone would dump this sweet girl defies logic! Shasta is a cuddle bug! Watching movies, she is a great lap warmer! She will lay at your feet while you are working on the computer. She loves people and will come up and say hi to anyone. Not cat tested. Shasta is currently being fostered in Bend, OR.
