About Dutch

Dutch was surrendered back to us after having been in a home for almost 6 months. He was apparently getting a little bit much for the current dog in the home. Unfortunately he had not yet been neutered so there is a good possibility that his hormones were causing some angst with the other dog. We will remedy that ASAP so he can calm down into the good boy we know he can be. Dutch is about 8 months old and quite the handsome fella. When he first came in with his siblings, they were in rough shape so we are glad he got the love and food he needed since then! The litter came in as Kelpies but he was the only black colored pup in the group, looks like there is some Shepherd influence in him so we are going with Kelpie/Shepherd as our best guess for the breeds in him. We will evaluate him over the next few days to get additional notes on how he does on leash, other dogs and hopefully meet up with the resident cats for an evaluation. He will be available for adoption on 10/25 with his neuter surgery having been completed and brought up to date on vaccinations and micro-chip. Adoption fee is $250.
