Kermit had been at the shelter for 10 months until he was fostered 6 weeks ago. Here's what his foster dad Eric says about this wonderful boy. 'He's an incredibly sweet dog, with great energy but he's also around 7 so he has that relaxed factor as well. He loves to sleep in bed under the covers & thinks he's a lap dog. He loves to get pets & if you pull your hand away for a second, he will roll over & give you a very concerned look, & suddenly you're back to petting him again. Kermit has done really well with my two senior cats. They aren't besties yet but they respect each other's space & have been getting more & more comfortable in each other's spaces. He really loves medium size Kong tennis balls & loves to carry them around proudly. There's a 100% chance if you throw the ball he'll chase it, there's a 50/50 chance that he'll bring it back to you to throw again. When he goes for walks, he's obsessed with smells, so he has to get familiar with each one along the way. I take Kermit everywhere I go! He really enjoys going to dog friendly events. He easily makes friends, both canine & human. He's easy on a leash, doesn't pull, & never barks or growls. Kermit loves car rides, even if he just sleeps through the whole thing, so I bring a bed for him to sleep on in the back of my SUV. Sometimes he's my co-captain, sometimes he's a dog with his head out the window taking in the fresh air, & other times he's a sleeping Uber passenger passed out in the back seat waiting for me to tell him he's home. I'm in the middle of a transitional period in my life at the moment & unfortunately can't take him with me. I really want to see him end up with a good individual, couple or family that values him the way he deserves. If you have an interest in adding an amazing animal please get in contact today!'
