About Duke

Duke came to us from the Nogales AZ shelter and was pretty traumatized by his shelter experience. He is a sensitive boy and needs to build some confidence but had zero aggression or negative behavior. He is doing much better with fosters (after 4-5 days), but he's not going to go into a home and be super social right away so needs someone patient. He is dog friendly with all of the dogs but could likely be ok without or without another 4 legged friend. He does great in a kennel, and seems housebroken. he doesn't mind being pet, but he doesn't necessarily enjoy being picked up but think that will change as he gets to know his new family and trust them. He will need leash training so needs someone willing to help with that. He is around 18# and estimated 2-3 years old. Duke is neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated.
