About Grace

Grace is a 3 yr old; Golden Retriever mix (maybe part Duck Toller - just a guess). She's approximately 55lbs, up-to-date on all her vaccines, spayed, heart-worm negative, and micro-chipped. She has come to us as an owner surrender because Grace became anxious around their now 2 yr old daughter; and their other female dog was not being nice to Grace anymore. It was all to much for her and her anxiety then became too much for her. Grace's previous owner rescued her from a shelter at the age of 1. She spent a lot of time with her, took her to training classes, and just adored her. However with the family dynamic changes, Grace wasn't thriving so she made the decision for us to fine her a new home where Grace could be happy. We have had Grace for a few weeks allowing her decompress and relax. She is re-discovering people are nice, she comes when called, knows sit and other commands, house-trained, and is now crate trained. She is learning better leash manners and likes to participate in what you are doing. Her previous owners let us know she loves car rides, walks, gardening (especially the watering and digging part). It takes her a minute to warm up to people but then she's loving and yes, treat motivated. Grace needs to be the only dog and a home with no children. A back yard would be ideal for her and she likes toys. If you are home most of the time then she will be a wonderful companion for you. We do not know what she thinks of cats. Her Adoption fee is $375.00
